Gepind · Random Picker, Saved Candidates & Game Guide · admin
Hello from OnePickGame! 👋
The Random Picker lets you enter names or candidates yourself, or import candidates from an Ideal Type World Cup.
Choose the game that suits your situation, whether you're deciding what to eat, setting a presentation order, or dividing people into teams.
1. How do I add candidates?
Open a game and enter candidates individually or add multiple names at once.
When entering multiple names, put one name on each line.
For example, if you're choosing a meal:
Kimchi stew
Pork cutlet
Pasta
Hamburger
Most candidate-based random games require at least two participating candidates, with a maximum of 200. Some games, such as Ladder and Dice, use separate player-count or number settings.
If you enter identical names more than once, they may be difficult to distinguish. Add a number or short description when needed.
2. Can I import candidates from a World Cup?
Yes. Use the candidate import feature to search for a World Cup and select the candidates you want.
① Open Import Candidates.
② Find a World Cup through recommendations or search.
③ Check the candidates you want to import.
④ Load the selected candidates and start the game.
You can import all candidates or select only some.
You can also use Go to Random Picker with These World Cup Candidates on the World Cup results page. When you enter through this option, the candidates are also made available as saved candidates.
The import includes candidate names and image information. World Cup winners and candidates with higher statistical rankings do not receive priority in the random draw.
3. Can I select which candidates participate?
Only checked candidates in the candidate list participate in the current game.
Uncheck candidates you want to exclude temporarily. Unchecking a candidate is different from deleting it.
Before starting, check that:
All intended candidates are included
Candidates you want to exclude are unchecked
Names are not duplicated or entered incorrectly
The number of winners and game settings are correct
Some game previews or animations may display only part of the candidate list. The number of candidates shown in an animation may differ from the actual number participating. Always check the participating candidate list.
4. What is Save Candidates?
Save Candidates on the Random Picker home page lets you store a frequently used list for later use.
Enter or import candidates on the home page, then save them. A summary of the list will appear in the Saved Candidates area below.
For example, you can save your usual lunch options or the names of people in a group instead of entering them every time.
Currently, this feature does not store multiple lists in separate folders. It stores one candidate list, and saving another list updates the existing saved list.
This feature does not save game results or winning histories.
5. Where are saved candidates stored?
Saved candidates are stored in the browser on the device you're currently using.
The list is not synchronized with your member account on the server, so please note:
It will not automatically appear on other devices or browsers.
Clearing your browser's site data may delete the saved list.
Storage duration and behavior may differ in private or incognito mode.
We recommend keeping a separate copy of important lists you'll need in the future.
6. Can I edit or delete saved candidates?
Yes. You can edit or delete them in the Saved Candidates area on the Random Picker home page.
Correct names, remove unnecessary candidates, and save the updated list. You can also delete a list you no longer need.
Editing a saved list does not automatically change the candidates or results of a game already in progress. To play with the updated list, load it again and check its contents.
7. What's the difference between Saved Candidates and Previous Candidates?
Load Saved Candidates
Loads the candidate list you explicitly saved for future use.
Load Previous Candidates
Restores the candidates you were using immediately before. This is not necessarily a separately saved list.
Previous candidates are remembered temporarily within the current browsing flow. They may not remain available after refreshing the page or reopening the site.
For lists you want to reuse over time, use Save Candidates.
8. How do the selection process and probabilities work?
The method used to choose candidates differs by game.
Some games use random selection, while others determine results based on where a roulette wheel stops or how a pinball collision and finishing sequence unfolds.
Therefore, not all games use the same selection method, and equal winning probabilities are not guaranteed in every situation.
In particular, manually adjusting roulette probabilities or adding team assignment conditions affects the results.
When the Random Ball Picker selects multiple winners in a single draw, the same candidate entry cannot be selected twice in that draw. However, a previous winner may be selected again when you start a new draw.
9. Quick introduction to each game
🎡 Roulette
Place candidates on a spinning wheel. The result is determined by where the wheel stops. The wheel gradually slows after you press Stop or after a certain amount of time.
You can adjust the probability for each candidate. Manually assigned probabilities remain fixed, while the remaining probability is distributed among candidates using automatic settings. Check the total and distribution before starting.
⚪ Random Ball Name Picker
Select the specified number of winners from participating candidates. Use it to choose one person or several people at once.
You can also generate numbered candidates by entering a number range. Be careful: generating a new number list replaces the existing candidate list.
🟣 Pinball Picker
Candidates participate in a physics-based collision race, and their finishing order is recorded.
Because collisions and movement affect the outcome, equal winning probabilities are not guaranteed for all candidates.
🪜 Ladder Game
Set the candidates at the top and the outcomes at the bottom, then follow the ladder connections to reveal each result.
The game supports 2–20 participants. If you import more candidates than the configured participant count, the game randomly places that number of candidates from those checked. If certain candidates must participate, verify the candidate list and participant count first.
📦 Lucky Draw Boxes
Choose a numbered box to reveal a hidden candidate or outcome. You can increase the number of boxes to include losing boxes.
Within the same round, opened boxes retain their revealed results. Use Restart to begin a new round.
🃏 Card Picker
Cards containing names or photos move and then stop to reveal the result. You can use manually entered candidates or an imported list.
🏁 Order Picker
Candidates race toward a finish line in an animation that reveals their complete order. Use it to decide presentation or activity order.
🎲 Dice
Choose and roll 1–3 dice. You can see each die's value and the total.
👥 Team Divider
Divide candidates into the specified number of teams. The team sizes are arranged so that the difference between any two teams is at most one person.
You can also set conditions requiring two candidates to be on the same team or on different teams. If the number of participants and the conditions conflict, assignment may be impossible. Adjust the team count or conditions and try again.
10. Drawing again and changing settings
Draw Again starts a new game with the same candidates. The new result may be identical or similar to the previous one.
If you change any settings, review the participating candidates, number of winners, probabilities, and team conditions before starting.
Because settings affect the outcome, we recommend agreeing on and sharing the rules before starting, especially when playing with others.
11. Can I share the results?
You can keep your results using the available sharing and image-saving features.
Before sharing, check that names or images do not contain personal information that should remain private. Shared links and result images work differently, so review exactly what you plan to send.
The Random Picker is intended to make everyday decisions more enjoyable. It is not a certified official drawing system or a tool that guarantees fairness in prize distribution.
